Commercial Activities

GBLT (UK) has full authority for the pre- and post-fixture activities for all BLT vessels trading in the European and North African markets.

Although it is primarily the 19,900dwt chemical tankers trading in this area, the main fleet of 79 vessels includes chemical tankers ranging from 1,200-40,000dwt, oil tankers and gas carriers (LPG and Ethylene), some of which may also trade from time to time in Western waters.

With our Head Office in Jakarta, and partners in Singapore, Dubai, Connecticut, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Mumbai, we are committed to providing full coverage in all time zones for the chartering and operations of the BLT fleet.

Technical Services

As BLT vessels now trade to Europe more frequently we have developed our technical service which includes ship monitoring visits, superintendency and port captaincy in order to ensure full support is available for vessels calling in Europe.

Our technical staff regularly visit vessels in European ports.

GBLT (UK) sponsors British Cadets.

Quality Assurance

GBLT (UK) obtained ISO 9001 quality accreditation from Lloyds Register in 2006. The office continues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
